Lakshman Jhula is a very big jhula. it is 4.5kms far away from Rishikesh. it is said that Lord Lakshman crossed the river by jute string . an ancient bridge was built in 1989 which was destroyed by flood and current bridge was built in 1929.It is very prominent in travellers for shopping and other activities. around the Lakshman jhula, it has so many different shops for buying anything.
